About the role
We’re looking for a Finance Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s financial and operational strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys tackling complex financial challenges, and seamlessly balances high-level strategy with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for tracking burn, developing financial models, managing accounting, and ensuring our business is structured and optimized for growth.
What you’ll do
Own and scale finance operations, including payroll, taxes, accounting, and compliance.
Track and manage burn rate, tying financial models directly to business growth.
Partnering across Marketing, Sales, and Product to assess opportunities to our top of funnel growth.
Develop and maintain revenue and business model forecasts.
Analyze and track key business metrics such as sales efficiency, product performance, and marketing ROI.
Build and maintain financial models that drive headcount planning, budgeting, and growth strategies.
Work cross-functionally leaders to ensure financial and operational alignment.
Help design and manage sales compensation plans.
Ideal candidate credentials
5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance.
Demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets).
Deep understanding of business models, forecasting, and financial planning.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions with incomplete data.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
A proactive and resourceful approach with a bias toward action and problem-solving.
